Returns Policy

We want you to be as happy as possible with your purchase at Kava Candles. Should you come across any issues, please contact us immediately.

If you have accidentally purchased the wrong product you can cancel your order at any time before we pack your order. However, once we have packed your order for dispatch, we cannot make any amendments. To amend your order, contact us sales@kavacandles.com within 24hours of your order being made.


We do not accept returns for change of mind. We do not accept returns/refund requests if you do not like the fragrance chosen. Returns/Refunds must be made within a reasonable time frame from the purchase date. Due to the nature of soy wax, we have deemed the reasonable time frame 6 weeks (42 days ).

Refunds only apply for products deemed faulty*.

If you are enquiring about a refund for the products because:

  • you received incorrect products, we will at our option, either replace the incorrect product with the products your ordered or we will refund you;

  • you received faulty or damaged products, we will at our option, either provide you with a replacement or we will refund you.

We do not offer refunds or replacements on products if only its packaging is damaged, ( example, the Candle Box/Packaging is damaged, but the candle is undamaged ).

Unless we reasonably determine the product is being returned due to our error or product fault:

  • you are responsible for any shipping charges on returned products; and
  • we will not refund you the delivery fee originally paid.

You must ensure you obtain proof of postage and tracking to cover the unlikely event that the parcel is not returned to us.

* If you suspect your product is faulty, you must return the item for us to inspect it. We will notify you of approval or rejection of your refund within 14 business days of us receiving the item/s ( timeframe is to allow adequate testing ). If you are approved, we will process your refund, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If the product you're returning was a gift, we will issue a store credit rather than a store credit.
